    Lead DevOps/SRE

    The international product company provides B2B private cloud solutions. They develop large scale distributed platform. Was founded in 2016 with 3 offices in USA, Ukraine and India.

    Their global team is looking for SRE on Kiev office.

    Key words would be: Python, Go, Kubernetes, Ansible, AWS, Azure, VMware

    Responsibilities:

    • Charging of the local DevOps / SRE team and will be working closely with the representatives of the team residing in HQ
    • Building and evolving large SaaS/PaaS system
    • Setting up and adding missing parts of CI/CD pipelines
    • Respons for the deployment, operations, and monitoring systems
    • You will get your hands dirty, troubleshooting infrastructure, and architectural challenges using your existing knowledge and toolkits
    • Drive reliability and supportability aspects of Cloud service by creating knowledge base and, working with DevOps, coordinate change management policies, deploy ticket/incident management system, service request queue triaging and auto-remediation
    • Help develop requirements for customer onboarding processes, target environment sizing and migration automation

    Requirements:

    • Experience in leading the team
    • Hands-on programming experience with Python, Go or similar
    • Deep technical knowledge of data center technologies:
    • Strong experience with large-scale Linux production environments
    • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter, ESXi)
    • Experience with CM tools and CI/CD pipelines
    • Knowledge of Web Services and infrastructure components
    • Deep understanding with cluster management systems like Kubernetes and Docker
    • Understanding data center networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed
    • Understanding of security tools and best practices
    • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
