    HR Director

    Our client is a dynamic international high-tech company, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Belgium, with over 2,200 employees worldwide.

    You fulfill the role of an HR Director in the Ukrainian office with more than 400 employees.

    Role description:

    • Makes sure that the right resources are attracted in an efficient and effective way and knows therefore the SW and IT Ukraine market very well
    • Focuses on the retention of (key) people by supporting leadership and implementing HR best practices
    • Partner with Global HR Director to develop, assess, facilitate and/or lead organizational development initiatives, programs, and processes to support business
    • Work closely with the local executive management to provide proactive and strategic consultation to the management team and people within the office, identifying, addressing and resolving the root causes of human resource issues systematically
    • You advise and support the management team and the line managers within the HR-related areas of their responsibilities and objectives, e.g. performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, dismissal …) or team/individual training needs
    • People manager of a local HR team of 7 people (talent acquisition, HRBP’s and C&B)
    • Function as HR BP and subject matter expert for a variety of Human Resource activities as needed
    • Facilitate and participate in company-wide programs and initiatives e.g., performance reviews, workforce planning, and organizational changes initiatives
    • Implement global policies and practices. Introduce local best practices and initiatives supporting the global trends of HR functioning or adding value to the local HR operations within the Ukrainian office


    • A representative of a multi-national  community and international company in IT industry with a focus on talent acquisition and talent development
    • A minimum of 5 years of HR Manager or HR BP experience is required, working closely with executive leadership in a mid to late-stage startup or a bigger matrix organization
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with business group leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies
    • Experience working in companies with multiple geographical locations across the globe, possessing sound judgment and strong business acumen. Experience working with virtual teams
    • Ability to manage complex organizational issues and multi-task effectively
    • People management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • English level – fluent
