The team is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer in Ukraine and Czech Republic: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Prague.
Hybrid model of work (several days a week in the office).
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business and engineering leaders to drive improvements for existing and new projects.
• Implementing security, DevOps, and architectural best practices for the company and projects.
• Research of new DevOps technologies and cloud services (mainly AWS)
• Works as a System Architect with an existing SA team or solo.
• Gathering customer’s requirements and suggesting groundbreaking technologies to mitigate issues.
Requirements:
• Cloud-based System Architect experience
• Experience with pre-sale activities
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Configuration Management experience (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• CI experience (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub actions, Argo Workflows)
• Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
• Deep Linux OS knowledge
• Network troubleshooting and configuration skills (DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP,
• etc.)
• Scripting skills with either Bash, KSH, Python
• Understanding of SDLC
• Hands-on experience with GCP/Azure is a plus
• Upper-intermediate English language proficiency
• Being a team player
• Strong & confident communication skills
