Responsibilities:
Develop reporting and data-warehouse data structures together with applications that load them and report on them
Develop and Maintain systems that interact with Paid Search vendor APIs including Google AdWords and Bing Ads
Advocate for your architectural and design choices among your peers
Ensure successful completion of stories by identifying and resolving blockers and other issues as they arise
Promote effective Agile processes in teams and establish best practices
Have creative ideas for continuously improving our processes, including CI/CD
Engineer quality into our product with unit testing and integration testing
Refactor the code base regularly
Review designs and code of peer BI software engineers
Work with stakeholders to balance business priorities with development time
Work with Technical Operations to ensure deliverables meet service level objectives for run times and reliability
Requirements:
4-5+ years of experience in the delivery of data warehouse applications including ETLs and Reporting
Expert knowledge of SQL (SQL Server preferred) and at least one ETL platform (SSIS preferred)
Experience writing code which calls APIs for the purpose of exchanging data
Experience developing reporting/dashboard applications and cubes
Experience in an Agile software development environment
Ability to deliver consistently at a high level of quality within weekly Agile cycles
Experience in project planning and task prioritization
Schedule flexibility to collaborate with team members in San Francisco
English – upper-intermediate
Nice to have:
Domain knowledge of PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Big Query
Database Administrator skills in SQL Server
